When the king came back from Damascus and saw the altar, the king approached the altar and went up to it.


Then Asa was angry with the seer and put him in the prison for he was enraged at him for this. Also Asa oppressed some of the people at the same time.


But while he was still speaking to him, the king said to him, “Have we appointed you a counselor to the king? Stop! Why should you be struck down?” So the prophet stopped after he said, “Now I know that God has determined to destroy you, because you have acted this way and have not listened to my counsel.”


When Azariah the chief kohen and all the other kohanim stared at him, behold, his forehead had tza'arat! So they rushed him out of there. Indeed, he himself hurried to get out because Adonai had smitten him.


The kohen is to examine him, and behold, if there is a white swelling in the skin and it has turned the hair white and if there is raw flesh in the swelling,


When the cloud lifted up from above the Tent, behold, Miriam had tza'arat, like snow! As Aaron turned toward her, behold, she had tza’arat!
