Then Solomon sat upon the throne of his father David, and his kingdom was established firmly. Solomon’s Throne Secured


Then King Solomon sent Benaiah son of Jehoiada. He struck him down and he died.


Then Benaiah son of Jehoiada went up, struck him down and killed him, and he was buried in his own house in the wilderness.


But King Solomon shall be blessed and the throne of David established before Adonai forever.”


Now Solomon the son of David firmly established himself over his kingdom. For Adonai his God was with him and made him exceedingly great.


Remove the wicked from before the king, and his throne will be established in righteousness.


By justice a king brings stability to a land, but one who takes bribes brings it ruin.
