Now it came to pass when he came from Jerusalem to meet the king, the king asked him, “Why did you not go with me Mephibosheth?”


Then their father asked them: “Which way did he go?” For his sons had seen which way the man of God that came from Judah went.


Then he went after the man of God and found him sitting under an oak tree. He said to him, “Are you the man of God who came from Judah?” “I am,” he said.


Then he spoke to his sons saying: “Saddle the donkey for me!” So they saddled it.


So Balaam got up in the morning, saddled his donkey, and went with the Moabite princes.


He had 30 sons who rode on 30 donkeys and had 30 towns in the land of Gilead, which are called Jair’s Villages to this day.
