Now Yeshua knew that the Pharisees heard that He was making and immersing more disciples than John.


(Although Yeshua Himself was not immersing, His disciples were.)


So he commanded them to be immersed in the name of Messiah Yeshua. Then they asked him to stay for a few days.


When I came to you, brothers and sisters, I did not come with excellence of speech or wisdom, proclaiming to you the mystery of God.


These things we also speak—not in words taught by human wisdom but in words taught by the Ruach, explaining the spiritual to the spiritual.


For our reason for boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience, that we behaved in the world, and most especially toward you, with simplicity and godly sincerity—not by human wisdom but by the grace of God.


for they say, “His letters are weighty and strong, but his presence in person is weak and his speech of no account.”


Even if I am unskilled in speech, yet I am not so in knowledge. No, in every way we have made this clear to you in all things.


Instead, we renounced the hidden shameful ways—not walking in deception or distorting the word of God, but commending ourselves before God to everyone’s conscience by the open proclamation of the truth.


For we did not follow cleverly concocted tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.
