You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, because salvation is from the Jews.

What then? Are we Jews any better off? Not at all! For we have previously charged that both Jews and Greeks are all under sin,


If I fought with wild beasts at Ephesus with no more than human hopes, what did it benefit me? If the dead are not raised, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”


Do not be carried away by various kinds of strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by regulations about food, which have not benefited those who follow them.
