not that there is another gospel, but there are some who are troubling you and wish to pervert the gospel of Christ.


So we must no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men and their craftiness in deceitful scheming.


remembering without ceasing, in the presence of our God and Father, your work of faith, your labor of love, and your endurance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.


but test everything; hold fast to what is good.


Nevertheless, the foundation of God stands firm, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord must depart from unrighteousness.”


For God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the labor of love that you have shown toward his name by serving the saints, as you still do.


Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.


Therefore, remember where yoʋ have fallen from; repent and do the works yoʋ did at first. Otherwise, I will come to yoʋ quickly and remove yoʋr lampstand from its place, unless yoʋ repent.


Yet yoʋ do have this: Yoʋ hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.


I know yoʋr works, yoʋr tribulation, and yoʋr poverty—yet yoʋ are rich! I know the slander of those who declare themselves to be Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.


“To the angel of the church in Sardis write: ‘These are the words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars: I know yoʋr works; yoʋ have a reputation for being alive, but yoʋ are dead.


I know yoʋr works; yoʋ are neither cold nor hot. If only yoʋ were cold or hot!


I know yoʋr works. Behold, I have set before yoʋ an open door that no one can shut. I know that yoʋ have little strength, but yoʋ have kept my word and have not denied my name.
