There he was transfigured before them; his face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as light.


when at midday, O king, I saw on the way a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who were traveling with me.


Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.


For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the point of dividing soul from spirit, and joints from marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.


This is the mystery of the seven stars that yoʋ saw in my right hand and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.


Then I saw a mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head; his face was like the sun, and his feet were like pillars of fire.


Then a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.


Out of his mouth comes a sharp two-edged sword with which he can strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God, the Almighty.


The rest were killed by the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.

Therefore repent. Otherwise, I will come to yoʋ quickly and make war against them with the sword of my mouth.


“To the angel of the church in Sardis write: ‘These are the words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars: I know yoʋr works; yoʋ have a reputation for being alive, but yoʋ are dead.
