Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,


So they went and secured the tomb by sealing the stone and posting the guard of soldiers.


And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone from the entrance and sat on it.


They found the stone rolled away from the tomb,


Deeply moved once more, Jesus came to the tomb. (It was a cave, and a stone was lying against it.)


So they took away the stone from where the dead man was laid. Then Jesus lifted up his eyes and said, “Father, I thank yoʋ that yoʋ have heard me.


Near the place where Jesus was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden there was a new tomb in which no one had ever been laid.


On the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and she saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb.
