Many false prophets will rise up and lead many astray.


If those days had not been cut short, no flesh would be saved. But for the sake of the chosen those days will be cut short.


Behold, I have told you in advance.


And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather together his chosen from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.


For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.


“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.


For false christs and false prophets will rise up and perform signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen.


And will not God surely bring about justice to his chosen ones who cry out to him day and night, while also being patient with them?


Then Jesus said to him, “Unless you see signs and wonders, you will certainly not believe.”


Everyone the Father gives me will come to me, and I will never cast out anyone who comes to me.


And this is the will of the Father who sent me, that I should lose none of those he has given me, but should raise them up on the last day.

But the beast was captured, and so was the false prophet who was with him, who in his sight performed the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.
