Then a cloud came and overshadowed them, and a voice came from the cloud: “This is my beloved Son; listen to him!”


As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus ordered them to tell no one what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead.


Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized him, but he disappeared from their sight.


When the voice finished speaking, they found that Jesus was alone. The disciples kept silent and did not tell anyone in those days about any of the things they had seen.


This happened three times, and then the object was taken up again into heaven.
