When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path.


As he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them.


Now some people are like the seed along the path, where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan immediately comes and takes away the word that is sown in their hearts.


“Listen! A sower went out to sow.


Other seed fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil, and it sprang up immediately because it had no depth of soil.


The ones along the path are those who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their heart, so that they may not believe and be saved.
