But he will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know you or where you are from. Depart from me, all you workers of unrighteousness.’


Produce fruit consistent with repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father,’ for I tell you that God is able from these stones to raise up children to Abraham.


“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I say?


For he says, “At a favorable time I listened to yoʋ, and in a day of salvation I helped yoʋ.” Behold, now is the favorable time; now is the day of salvation.


You know that afterward, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no opportunity for repentance, even though he sought the blessing with tears.
