“See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of my Father in heaven.


For the Son of Man came to save the lost.


just as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”


And he said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a den of robbers.”


“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows' houses and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive a more severe judgment.


Then he began to teach the people, saying, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a den of robbers.”


For the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost.”


“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the gate but climbs in by another way is a thief and a robber.


I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.


If anyone hears my words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.


(He said this not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief; he was the keeper of the moneybag and would pilfer what was put into it.)


For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through him.


yet you are not willing to come to me so that you may have life.


For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”


I am the living bread that has come down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”


Yoʋ then who teach others, do yoʋ not teach yoʋrself? Yoʋ who preach against stealing, do yoʋ steal?


This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.


So when God wanted to show the unchangeable nature of his purpose even more clearly to the heirs of the promise, he guaranteed it with an oath,


Therefore he is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.


For in this way, entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be richly provided for you.
