On the contrary, we believe that we are saved by the grace of the Lord Jesus in the same way they are.”


For the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.


Because we, who are many, are one bread and one body; for we all partake of the one bread.


As it is, there are many members, yet one body.


For if someone comes to you and preaches a different message about Jesus than the one we preached, or if you receive a different spirit than the one you received, or a different gospel than the one you accepted, you bear with it well enough.


I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,


He reconciled both groups to God in one body through the cross, by which he put the hostility to death.


For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.


And in him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God in the Spirit.


Therefore I, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling you have received,


because we are members of his body, of his flesh and of his bones.


the faith and love that spring from the hope that is laid up for you in heaven. You have already heard about this hope in the message of the truth of the gospel


Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.


Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by his grace,


Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ according to the command of God our Savior and of the Lord Jesus Christ our hope,


in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before time began;


as we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.


so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.


Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope might be in God.


Everyone who places this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.
