Simeon has related how God first visited the Gentiles, to take from among them a people for his name.

So Paul stayed for a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.


One night the Lord said to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid, but speak and do not be silent.


What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?


But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for yoʋ, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.


But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fully made and all the Gentiles might hear. And I was rescued from the lion's mouth.


The Lord Jesus Christ be with yoʋr spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.
