When they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethsphage, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples ahead,


Pray that your flight will not happen in winter or on a Sabbath.


Later, as Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign of yoʋr coming and of the end of the age?”


And after singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.


As he drew near to Bethsphage and Bethany, at the mount called Olivet, he sent two of his disciples ahead,


Each day Jesus taught in the temple courts, but at night he would go out and stay at the mount called Olivet.


Then he led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them.


So they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.


Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles away,
