For I will give you a mouth to speak and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to refute or resist.


Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures


“Let these words sink into your ears: The Son of Man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men.”


But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and remind you of everything I have told you.


When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you what is to come.


and delivered him out of all his afflictions. He gave Joseph favor and wisdom before Pharaoh, king of Egypt, so Pharaoh appointed him as ruler over Egypt and over all his household.


To one person there is given a word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another a word of knowledge according to the same Spirit,


Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if anything is virtuous or praiseworthy, think about such things.


For this reason, from the day we heard this, we have not ceased praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,


Attend to these things and immerse yourself in them, so that yoʋr progress may be evident to all.


The hardworking farmer ought to receive the first share of the crops.


Remember Jesus Christ, the offspring of David, who was raised from the dead according to my gospel.


Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners against himself, so that you will not grow weary or lose heart.


Remember your leaders, who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their conduct, and imitate their faith.


Therefore, holy brothers, you who share in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus Christ, the apostle and high priest of our confession,


Consider how great this man must be, that even Abraham the patriarch gave him a tenth of the spoils.


If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to him.


This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, and demonic.


But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easily entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, and unhypocritical.


And we know that the Son of God has come and given us understanding so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
