For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.


On the first day of every week, each one of you should set something aside, storing up whatever he may be prospered with, so that collections will not need to be taken when I come.


What I say in this confidence of boasting, I am not saying in accordance with the Lord, but as a fool.


Therefore show them in front of all the churches the proof of your love and the reason for our boasting about you.


For I know how eager you are to help, and I keep boasting about you to the Macedonians, saying that Achaia has been prepared to give since last year; and your zeal has stirred up most of them.


I, Paul, write this with my own hand: I will repay it (not to mention that yoʋ owe me yoʋr very own life).
