Simon Peter answered, “Yoʋ are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”


Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but servants through whom you believed, as the Lord has assigned to each?


He has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.


Now if the ministry of death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not gaze at the face of Moses because of its glory (a glory that was fading away),


And what agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For you are the temple of the living God, just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.


For the people themselves report what kind of reception we had among you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God,


“This is the covenant I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws on their hearts and write them on their minds.”


For this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.


how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify your consciences from dead works to serve the living God?
