And, behold, the Cushite came; and the Cushite said, Tidings for my lord the king: for the LORD hath avenged thee this day of all them that rose up against thee.


And the king said unto the Cushite, Is it well with the young man Absalom? And the Cushite answered, The enemies of my lord the king, and all that rise up against thee to do thee hurt, be as that young man is.


He shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, a morning without clouds; when the tender grass springeth out of the earth, through clear shining after rain.


His going forth is from the end of the heaven, And his circuit unto the ends of it: And there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.


They are bowed down and fallen: But we are risen, and stand upright.


Add he shall make thy righteousness to go forth as the light, And thy judgement as the noonday.


His seed shall endure for ever, And his throne as the sun before me.


It shall be established for ever as the moon, And as the faithful witness in the sky. Selah


Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.


But my horn hast thou exalted like the horn of the wild-ox: I am anointed with fresh oil.


For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, For, lo, thine enemies shall perish; All the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.


O ye that love the LORD, hate evil: He preserveth the souls of his saints; He delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.


Zion heard and was glad, And the daughters of Judah rejoiced; Because of thy judgements, O LORD.


and shewing mercy unto thousands, of them that love me and keep my commandments.


But the path of the righteous is as the shining light, That shineth more and more unto the perfect day.


And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.


And let us know, let us follow on to know the LORD; his going forth is sure as the morning: and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter rain that watereth the earth.


Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears, let him hear.


And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose.


but if any man loveth God, the same is known of him.


Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in uncorruptness.


and thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

And the land had rest forty years. And Othniel the son of Kenaz died.


So Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel. And the land had rest fourscore years.
