O daughter of Babylon, that art to be destroyed; Happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee As thou hast served us.


Hear my prayer, O LORD; give ear to my supplications: In thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.


And in thy lovingkindness cut off mine enemies, And destroy all them that afflict my soul; For I am thy servant.


Teach me thy way, O LORD; And lead me in a plain path, Because of mine enemies.


O love the LORD, all ye his saints: The LORD preserveth the faithful, And plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.


Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; Make thy way plain before my face.


O God, the proud are risen up against me, And the congregation of violent men have sought after my soul, And have not set thee before them.


Lord, where are thy former mercies, Which thou swarest unto David in thy faithfulness?


And he hath brought upon them their own iniquity, And shall cut them off in their own evil; the LORD our God shall cut them off.
