Hear my prayer, O LORD; give ear to my supplications: In thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.


O my God, in thee have I trusted, Let me not be ashamed; Let not mine enemies triumph over me.


Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.


And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their faces to the earth, and lick the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD, and they that wait for me shall not be ashamed.


O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, let thine anger and thy fury, I pray thee, be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are round about us.


For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be put to shame.


and hope putteth not to shame; because the love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Ghost which was given unto us.
