My heart overfloweth with a goodly matter: I speak the things which I have made touching the king: My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.


Behold, they belch out with their mouth; Swords are in their lips: For who, say they, doth hear?


A prudent man concealeth knowledge: But the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.


Every prudent man worketh with knowledge: But a fool spreadeth out folly.


A man hath joy in the answer of his mouth: And a word in due season, how good is it!


The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: But the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.


The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: But the heart of the foolish doeth not so.


The heart of the wise instructeth his mouth, And addeth learning to his lips.


That thou mayest preserve discretion, And that thy lips may keep knowledge.


A fool also multiplieth words: yet man knoweth not what shall be; and that which shall be after him, who can tell him?

The Lord GODhath given me the tongue of them that are taught, that I should know how to sustain with words him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as they that are taught.
