LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the meek: Thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:


With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.


Oh that my ways were established To observe thy statutes!


One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.


Delight thyself also in the LORD; And he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.


The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: But the expectation of the wicked shall perish.


There is that scattereth, and increaseth yet more; And there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth only to want.


When a wicked man dieth his expectation shall perish: And the hope of iniquity perisheth.


The thoughts of the righteous are just: But the counsels of the wicked are deceit.


A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: But the soul of the treacherous shall eat violence.


With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgements are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.


As for me, I have not hastened from being a shepherd after thee; neither have I desired the woeful day; thou knowest: that which came out of my lips was before thy face.


Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.


but a certain fearful expectation of judgement, and a fierceness of fire which shall devour the adversaries.
