Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways: as a nation that did righteousness and forsook not the ordinance of their God, they ask of me righteous ordinances, they delight to draw near unto God.


Moreover I will make thee a desolation and a reproach, among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.


Will a man rob God? yet ye rob me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.


The young man saith unto him, All these things have I observed: what lack I yet?


And Jesus looking upon him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.


But he, desiring to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?


And I was alive apart from the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died;


as touching zeal, persecuting the church; as touching the righteousness which is in the law, found blameless.


holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof: from these also turn away.
