Man that is born of a woman Is of few days, and full of trouble.

Is there not a warfare to man upon earth? And are not his days like the days of an hireling?

The days of our years are threescore years and ten, Or even by reason of strength fourscore years; Yet is their pride but labour and sorrow; For it is soon gone, and we fly away.

All things are full of weariness; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.

For what hath a man of all his labour, and of the striving of his heart, wherein he laboureth under the sun?

For all his days are but sorrows, and his travail is grief; yea, even in the night his heart taketh no rest. This also is vanity.

Wherefore came I forth out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?

There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.
