and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.


And the earth was waste and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep: and the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.


But thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.


And Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.


And he said, My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he only is left: if mischief befall him by the way in the which ye go, then shall ye bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave.


The deep saith, It is not in me: And the sea saith, It is not with me.


Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? Or hast thou walked in the recesses of the deep?


The waters are hidden as with stone, And the face of the deep is frozen.


He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: He maketh the sea like ointment.


Upon earth there is not his like, That is made without fear.


The hoary head is a crown of glory, It shall be found in the way of righteousness.


The glory of young men is their strength: And the beauty of old men is the hoary head.
