Hear us, my lord: thou art a mighty prince among us: in the choice of our sepulchres bury thy dead; none of us shall withhold from thee his sepulchre, but that thou mayest bury thy dead.


thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.


For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly; for from henceforth thou shalt have wars.


For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren; seeking the good of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.


His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she-asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the children of the east


When they cast thee down, thou shalt say, There is lifting up; And the humble person he shall save.


Doth not he see my ways, And number all my steps?


Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being innocent? Or where were the upright cut off?


So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: And he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she-asses.


So that he setteth up on high those that be low; And those which mourn are exalted to safety.


There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.


Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, Upon them that hope in his mercy;


The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous, And his ears are open unto their cry.


The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.


And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, And settest me before thy face for ever.


And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a throne of glory to his father's house.


The LORD thy God is in the midst of thee, a mighty one who will save: he will rejoice over thee with joy, he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.


But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and guard you from the evil one.


For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, And his ears unto their supplication: But the face of the Lord is upon them that do evil.


He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, he lifteth up the needy from the dunghill, to make them sit with princes, and inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them.
