The tents of robbers prosper, And they that provoke God are secure; Into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.


Wherefore do the wicked live, Become old, yea, wax mighty in power?


Wilt thou keep the old way which Wicked men have trodden?


For God hath made my heart faint, and the Almighty hath troubled me:


Why are times not laid up by the Almighty? And why do not they which know him see his days?


For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, He clappeth his hands among us, And multiplieth his words against God.


Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; Thou hast tried me, and findest nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.


Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; Try my reins and my heart.


Behold, we call them blessed which endured: ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord, how that the Lord is full of pity, and merciful.
