Let him not trust in vanity, deceiving himself: For vanity shall be his recompence.


They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: With flattering lip, and with a double heart, do they speak.


I have not sat with vain persons; Neither will I go in with dissemblers.


O ye sons of men, how long shall my glory be turned into dishonour? How long will ye love vanity, And seek after falsehood? Selah


He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: But he that followeth after vain persons is void of understanding.


thus saith the LORD, What unrighteousness have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?
