So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.


My skin is black, and falleth from me, And my bones are burned with heat.


When I lie down, I say, When shall I arise? but the night is long; And I am full of tossings to and fro unto the dawning of the day.


O my God, I cry in the day-time, but thou answerest not; And in the night season, and am not silent.


I quieted myself until morning; as a lion, so he breaketh all my bones: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.


I heard, and my belly trembled, My lips quivered at the voice; Rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in my place: That I should rest in the day of trouble, When it cometh up against the people which invadeth him in troops.
