Job 3:19

They lie down alike in the dust, And the worm covereth them


The clods of the valley shall be sweet unto him, And all men shall draw after him, As there were innumerable before him.


There the prisoners are at ease together; They hear not the voice of the taskmaster


Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, And life unto the bitter in soul;


For I know that thou wilt bring me to death, And to the house appointed for all living.


Both low and high, Rich and poor together.


yea, they shall be afraid of that which is high, and terrors shall be in the way; and the almond tree shall blossom, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and the caper-berry shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:


and the dust return to the earth as it was, and the spirit return unto God who gave it.


There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power over the day of death; and there is no discharge in that war: neither shall wickedness deliver him that is given to it.


And inasmuch as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this cometh judgement;
