And dost thou open thine eyes upon such an one, And bringest me into judgement with thee?


That he would maintain the right of a man with God, And of a son of man with his neighbour!


Be ye afraid of the sword: For wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, That ye may know there is a judgement.


Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that thou art righteous? Or is it gain to him, that thou makest thy ways perfect?


For he needeth not further to consider a man, That he should go before God in judgement.


Am I a sea, or a sea-monster, That thou settest a watch over me?


If we speak of the strength of the mighty, lo, he is there! And if of judgement, who will appoint me a time?


For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, That we should come together in judgement.


And enter not into judgement with thy servant; For in thy sight shall no man living be justified.


When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, Thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: Surely every man is vanity. Selah


At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, Both chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.


It is burned with fire, it is cut down: They perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.


For God shall bring every work into judgement, with every hidden thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil.


As many as I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
