Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, That thou shouldest despise the work of thine hands, And shine upon the counsel of the wicked?


That he would maintain the right of a man with God, And of a son of man with his neighbour!


Behold, I know your thoughts, And the devices which ye wrongfully imagine against me.


I cry unto thee, and thou dost not answer me: I stand up, and thou lookest at me.


Surely against a ruinous heap he will not put forth his hand; Though it be in his destruction, one may utter a cry because of these things.


I go mourning without the sun: I stand up in the assembly, and cry for help.


For Job hath said, I am righteous, And God hath taken away my right:


Wilt thou even disannul my judgement? Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified?


The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: He covereth the faces of the judges thereof; If it be not he, who then is it?


For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, That we should come together in judgement.


O my God, I cry in the day-time, but thou answerest not; And in the night season, and am not silent.


But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.


For as often as I speak, I cry out; I cry, Violence and spoil: because the word of the LORD is made a reproach unto me, and a derision, all the day.


Yea, when I cry and call for help, he shutteth out my prayer.
