With him is strength and effectual working; The deceived and the deceiver are his.


If I have walked with vanity, And my foot hath hasted to deceit;


Surely God will not hear vanity, Neither will the Almighty regard it


According as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, And sow trouble, reap the same


Trust not in oppression, And become not vain in robbery: If riches increase, set not your heart thereon.


He that soweth iniquity shall reap calamity: And the rod of his wrath shall fail.


For there will be no reward to the evil man; The lamp of the wicked shall be put out.


He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?


None sueth in righteousness, and none pleadeth in truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.


Thus saith the LORD: Deceive not yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us: for they shall not depart.


For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: he hath no standing corn; the blade shall yield no meal; if so be it yield, strangers shall swallow it up.


They that regard lying vanities forsake their own mercy.


For if a man thinketh himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.


Let no man deceive you with empty words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience.
