Son of man, hath not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said unto thee, What doest thou?


Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and brought them to him to Babylon;


Then said I, Ah Lord GOD they say of me, Is he not a speaker of parables?


And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things are to us, that thou doest so?


Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man from among them, and set him for their watchman:


say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions; and I will put them with it, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
