And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.


Righteousness exalteth a nation: But sin is a reproach to any people.


Behold, this only have I found, that God made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.


How art thou fallen from heaven, O day star, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst lay low the nations!


The crown is fallen from our head: woe unto us! for we have sinned.


Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.


And I was alive apart from the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died;


For if God spared not angels when they sinned, but cast them down to hell, and committed them to pits of darkness, to be reserved unto judgement;
