Ye shall not make other gods with me; gods of silver, or gods of gold, ye shall not make unto you.


After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their statutes.


Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;


The LORD shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which thou hast not known, thou nor thy fathers; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.


(for ye know how we dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the midst of the nations through which ye passed;


And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.
