let Mount Zion be glad! Let the daughters of Judah rejoice because of thy judgments!


that I may recount all thy praises, that in the gates of the daughter of Zion I may rejoice in thy deliverance.


I am very dark, but comely, O daughters of Jerusalem, like the tents of Kedar, like the curtains of Solomon.


I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, by the gazelles or the hinds of the field, that you stir not up nor awaken love until it please.


Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the fields, and lodge in the villages;


Who is that coming up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? Under the apple tree I awakened you. There your mother was in travail with you, there she who bore you was in travail.


when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and cleansed the bloodstains of Jerusalem from its midst by a spirit of judgment and by a spirit of burning.


he shall see the fruit of the travail of his soul and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous; and he shall bear their iniquities.


For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you, and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.


For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government will be upon his shoulder, and his name will be called “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”


“Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem, Thus says the Lord, I remember the devotion of your youth, your love as a bride, how you followed me in the wilderness, in a land not sown.


I will rejoice in doing them good, and I will plant them in this land in faithfulness, with all my heart and all my soul.


The Lord your God is in your midst, a warrior who gives victory; he will rejoice over you with gladness, he will renew you in his love; he will exult over you with loud singing


Take from them silver and gold, and make a crown, and set it upon the head of Joshua, the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;


The queen of the South will arise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here.


It was fitting to make merry and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.’ ”


These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.


He who has the bride is the bridegroom; the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom's voice; therefore this joy of mine is now full.


He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that in everything he might be pre-eminent.


Therefore let us go forth to him outside the camp, and bear the abuse he endured.


But we see Jesus, who for a little while was made lower than the angels, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for every one.


Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, every one who pierced him; and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.


His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems; and he has a name inscribed which no one knows but himself.


Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready;
