Oh guard my life, and deliver me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in thee.


therefore thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am laying in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, of a sure foundation: ‘He who believes will not be in haste.’


But Israel is saved by the Lord with everlasting salvation; you shall not be put to shame or confounded to all eternity.


“Fear not, for you will not be ashamed; be not confounded, for you will not be put to shame; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.


Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the scriptures: ‘The very stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner; this was the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?


Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved.


The scripture says, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.”


and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit which has been given to us.


But if I, brethren, still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? In that case the stumbling block of the cross has been removed.


as it is my eager expectation and hope that I shall not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death.


and therefore I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am sure that he is able to guard until that Day what has been entrusted to me.


And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming.
