But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God. I trust in the steadfast love of God for ever and ever.


When its boughs are dry, they are broken; women come and make a fire of them. For this is a people without discernment; therefore he who made them will not have compassion on them, he that formed them will show them no favor.


And though a tenth remain in it, it will be burned again, like a terebinth or an oak, whose stump remains standing when it is felled.” The holy seed is its stump.


The Lord once called you, ‘A green olive tree, fair with goodly fruit’; but with the roar of a great tempest he will set fire to it, and its branches will be consumed.


Then the men feared the Lord exceedingly, and they offered a sacrifice to the Lord and made vows.


And there are two olive trees by it, one on the right of the bowl and the other on its left.”


Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a nation producing the fruits of it.”


“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser.


Every branch of mine that bears no fruit, he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.


If a man does not abide in me, he is cast forth as a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire and burned.


For the promise is to you and to your children and to all that are far off, every one whom the Lord our God calls to him.”


For if you have been cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these natural branches be grafted back into their own olive tree.


We ourselves, who are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners,


that is, how the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.


a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive trees and honey,


And you, who were dead in trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,


These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands which stand before the Lord of the earth.
