“But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built!


“But will God dwell indeed with man on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built!


And let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell in their midst.


And I will dwell among the people of Israel, and will be their God.


Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.”


But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it upon their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.


And they shall be my people, and I will be their God.


My dwelling place shall be with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.


and he said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the people of Israel for ever. And the house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, neither they, nor their kings, by their harlotry, and by the dead bodies of their kings,


The circumference of the city shall be eighteen thousand cubits. And the name of the city henceforth shall be, The Lord is there.”


And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’ ”


and I will bring them to dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and they shall be my people and I will be their God, in faithfulness and in righteousness.”


So it was continually; the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night.


And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father.


Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.


What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, “I will live in them and move among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.


and I will be a father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”


Now may our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way to you;


But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.


This is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.


a minister in the sanctuary and the true tent which is set up not by man but by the Lord.


And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.”


Then the voice which I had heard from heaven spoke to me again, saying, “Go, take the scroll which is open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”


And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.


He who conquers shall have this heritage, and I will be his God and he shall be my son.


There shall no more be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and his servants shall worship him;


Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night within his temple; and he who sits upon the throne will shelter them with his presence.
