And I said, “O Lord God of heaven, the great and terrible God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments;


Out of the north comes golden splendor; God is clothed with terrible majesty.


Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.


May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!


In your majesty ride forth victoriously for the cause of truth and to defend the right; let your right hand teach you dread deeds!


For the Lord, the Most High, is terrible, a great king over all the earth.


By dread deeds thou dost answer us with deliverance, O God of our salvation, who art the hope of all the ends of the earth, and of the farthest seas;


Blessed be God, because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his steadfast love from me!


Come and see what God has done: he is terrible in his deeds among men.
