In the place where you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us.”


Plead my cause and redeem me; give me life according to thy promise!


Vindicate me, O God, and defend my cause against an ungodly people; from deceitful and unjust men deliver me!


The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be still.”

I will bear the indignation of the Lord because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my cause and executes judgment for me. He will bring me forth to the light; I shall behold his deliverance.


Then a great clamor arose; and some of the scribes of the Pharisees' party stood up and contended, “We find nothing wrong in this man. What if a spirit or an angel spoke to him?”


but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You might even be found opposing God!”


And Joshua took all these kings and their land at one time, because the Lord God of Israel fought for Israel.


May the Lord therefore be judge, and give sentence between me and you, and see to it, and plead my cause, and deliver me from your hand.”
