I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my supplications.


The Lord is my portion; I promise to keep thy words.


Lord, hear my voice! Let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications!


I look to the right and watch, but there is none who takes notice of me; no refuge remains to me, no man cares for me.


I cry to thee, O Lord; I say, Thou art my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.


Hear my prayer, O Lord; give ear to my supplications! In thy faithfulness answer me, in thy righteousness!


I say to the Lord, “Thou art my Lord; I have no good apart from thee.”


But I trust in thee, O Lord, I say, “Thou art my God.”


My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast! I will sing and make melody!


Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint; preserve my life from dread of the enemy,
