So she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, “Thou art a God of seeing”; for she said, “Have I really seen God and remained alive after seeing him?”


‘But I know your sitting down and your going out and coming in, and your raging against me.


And one of his servants said, “None, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedchamber.”


Nay, for thy sake we are slain all the day long, and accounted as sheep for the slaughter.


Thou hast kept count of my tossings; put thou my tears in thy bottle! Are they not in thy book?


the Lord, knows the thoughts of man, that they are but a breath.


The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.


“ ‘I know your sitting down and your going out and coming in, and your raging against me.


And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and he said to me, “Say, Thus says the Lord: So you think, O house of Israel; for I know the things that come into your mind.


“Thus says the Lord God: Are you he of whom I spoke in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel, who in those days prophesied for years that I would bring you against them?


For whoever has despised the day of small things shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel. “These seven are the eyes of the Lord, which range through the whole earth.”


But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts?


But when Jesus perceived the thought of their hearts, he took a child and put him by his side,


Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then every man will receive his commendation from God.


And when many evils and troubles have come upon them, this song shall confront them as a witness (for it will live unforgotten in the mouths of their descendants); for I know the purposes which they are already forming, before I have brought them into the land that I swore to give.”
