My foot has held fast to his steps; I have kept his way and have not turned aside.


Many are my persecutors and my adversaries, but I do not swerve from thy testimonies.


Thou dost rebuke the insolent, accursed ones, who wander from thy commandments;


I cleave to thy testimonies, O Lord; let me not be put to shame!


The godless besmear me with lies, but with my whole heart I keep thy precepts;


Our heart has not turned back, nor have our steps departed from thy way,


and said, “Remember now, O Lord, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in faithfulness and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in thy sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.


He will not fail or be discouraged till he has established justice in the earth; and the coastlands wait for his law.


O Lord, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived; thou art stronger than I, and thou hast prevailed. I have become a laughingstock all the day; every one mocks me.


And the people stood by, watching; but the rulers scoffed at him, saying, “He saved others; let him save himself, if he is the Christ of God, his Chosen One!”
