With my whole heart I seek thee; let me not wander from thy commandments!


Thou dost rebuke the insolent, accursed ones, who wander from thy commandments;


Put false ways far from me; and graciously teach me thy law!


but turned away and acted treacherously like their fathers; they twisted like a deceitful bow.


For forty years I loathed that generation and said, “They are a people who err in heart, and they do not regard my ways.”


Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but those who plan good have joy.


For the hand of the Lord will rest on this mountain, and Moab shall be trodden down in his place, as straw is trodden down in a dung-pit.


He feeds on ashes; a deluded mind has led him astray, and he cannot deliver himself or say, “Is there not a lie in my right hand?”


“I have trodden the wine press alone, and from the peoples no one was with me; I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath; their lifeblood is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have stained all my raiment.


And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says the Lord of hosts.


they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led captive among all nations; and Jerusalem will be trodden down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.


Put off your old nature which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful lusts,


Let no one deceive you with empty words, for it is because of these things that the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.


while evil men and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceivers and deceived.


I write to you, not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and know that no lie is of the truth.


and the wine press was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the wine press, as high as a horse's bridle, for one thousand six hundred stadia.
