With my whole heart I seek thee; let me not wander from thy commandments!


Thou dost rebuke the insolent, accursed ones, who wander from thy commandments;


Godless men utterly deride me, but I do not turn away from thy law.


Godless men have dug pitfalls for me, men who do not conform to thy law.


They have almost made an end of me on earth; but I have not forsaken thy precepts.


The wicked lie in wait to destroy me; but I consider thy testimonies.


Arrogant men have hidden a trap for me, and with cords they have spread a net, by the wayside they have set snares for me. Selah


Keep me from the trap which they have laid for me, and from the snares of evildoers!


But I am like a deaf man, I do not hear, Like a dumb man who does not open his mouth.


My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast! I will sing and make melody!


May a cry be heard from their houses, when thou bringest the marauder suddenly upon them! For they have dug a pit to take me, and laid snares for my feet.
