A scoffer seeks wisdom in vain, but knowledge is easy for a man of understanding.


The mind of him who has understanding seeks knowledge, but the mouths of fools feed on folly.


The wise man's path leads upward to life, that he may avoid Sheol beneath.


A man of understanding sets his face toward wisdom, but the eyes of a fool are on the ends of the earth.


An intelligent mind acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.


Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gets understanding,


And a highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Holy Way; the unclean shall not pass over it, and fools shall not err therein.


Should this be said, O house of Jacob? Is the Spirit of the Lord impatient? Are these his doings? Do not my words do good to him who walks uprightly?


It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Every one who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me.


if any man's will is to do his will, he shall know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority.


If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all men generously and without reproaching, and it will be given him.
